Call for submissions for the next Bridge magazine
It is planned to produce a normal hard-copy edition of The Bridge magazine for May-June, to be on sale in the middle of June, writes Brian Byrne.
While many of the normal sections, including main sports reports and the schools pages, are not likely to be back in action, there will be a number of stories relating to local experiences of the Covid situation. Anyone with their own story to tell is invited to contribute.
Regular features will be in the magazine, and among new ones it is hoped to include a photo-feature of pictures from members of Kilcullen Photography Club, who have not been idle during the restrictions.
So this is a call to all usual contributors, and anyone else who wants to be involved, to email submissions to kilcullenbridge@gmail.com in the normal way. Our deadline is Tuesday 2 June.
There was a very good response to the online version of The Bridge produced in April, and it's intended that such e-Bridges will be continued, published after the print editions.
