Gardai will shave, dye or wear wigs for hospital staffs

Kilcullen's Gda Jon Brien is one of a group of gardai from around the county who are planning to shave or dye their hair, or wear a wig for a week, to raise funds for staff at Naas and Athy Hospitals, writes Brian Byrne.

The initiative is in association with Entertain Us Athy, and sponsorship is being raised on GoFundMe.

The response has been excellent so far.
