Women's Day lunchtime talk on Thursday
A lunchtime talk in celebration of International Women’s Day 2020 will be held in Kildare Council on Thursday 5 March, in association with the Making Marks and Markievicz exhibition, writes Brian Byrne.
The talk will be given by writer in residence Sue Rainsford and will start at 1pm.
The exhibition is Glimpses of Escape: your monochrome, my technicolour and comprises selected artworks created by women over the last 100 years.
They are from the Kildare Municipal Collection. An essay entitled Impossible Witness: a sequence on wholeness by Sue Rainsford accompanies the exhibition.
