'Use time at home for revision' — teacher

A member of the staff at CPC has encouraged students in all years in second level to use this time away from school for revision work, writes Brian Byrne.

Glenda Groome says students have already completed 'a vast amount' of work in school. While home because of the Covid-19 situation they can create personal revision notes, practice past exam questions.

"It is really important for teachers, parents and students to realise and acknowledge that we are experiencing unprecedented change in a highly stressful, worrying time," she says in a Facebook post. "We are all doing our best with the resources we have. Not everyone has access to the physical resources of laptops or an extensive broadband package. This is an excellent time for revision ... with patience, cooperation and kindness we can get through this."
