Register for tonight's Biodiversity Workshop

There's still time for registration for tonight's workshop with Green Pine Consultants, hosted by the Kilcullen Pollinator Group, writes Brian Byrne.

Tonight's workshop in Kilcullen Heritage Centre is the first of two for Kilcullen under the Kildare Biodiversity Towns scheme, through which advice and support to develop and implement Biodiversity Action Plans will be given.

The event begins at 6.30pm and will include practical tips on how to create and manage different types of wildlife habitat; examples of project ideas to engage the community; identifying funding sources; and exploring economic, social and environmental benefits that nature provides, which may be applicable in individual locations.

The second training session will start at 9.30am on Saturday 21 March, and will involve walking around the various locations involved as well as a discussion on individual area BAPs.
