MEP visits CPC students
European Studies students at CPC had a visit today from Midlands North West MEP Maria Walsh, ahead of their planned trip to the European Parliament at the end of the month.
In the company of local FG TD Deputy Martin Heydon, MEP Walsh said it was ‘refreshing’ to hear ‘informed students’ engaging in lively debate on policy and current affairs.
She thanked CPC’s European Studies teacher John Tynan for facilitating the visit.
The class will be visiting the Parliament on 26 March, having won the trip in a Euroscola competition.
