Kilcullen bank office closes temporarily

In line with the announcement today of temporary Bank of Ireland branch closures, the Kilcullen Advice and Self-Service office has closed until further notice, writes Brian Byrne.

The bank says the move is so they can ensure that resources are focused on 'services most in demand during the coronavirus pandemic'.

The branches in Naas, Newbridge and Kildare are remaining open.

"These changes will allow colleagues from temporarily closed branches to support our larger branches and our contact centres in managing the increased volume of customers requiring COVID-19 support," a statement from the bank says. "Open branches will continue the provision of prioritised services for over 65s and carers (10am–11am, Monday–Friday)."

The external ATM at the Kilcullen office will remain in service.
