Happy St Patrick's Day from Kilcullen

Despite all the difficulties, you can't have St Patrick's Day without some kind of celebration, and Pat Kelly decided that there would be at least a token one in Kilcullen, writes Brian Byrne.

So he set up his sound system on the patio of his and Lorraine's home at 1 Bishop Rogan Park, and at 2pm today gave a rendition of The Town I Love So Well and Amhrán na bhFiann to mark the day.

The oldest Bishop Rogan Park resident, Anne Fitzpatrick, also gave her own harmonica performance, and a few steps of a jig were seen too.

The audience was small, and everybody kept their social distance for the short duration of the performance. But it is being heard around the world.
