Community First Responders stood down for Covid duration

Kilcullen Community First Responders have announced that they have been stood down as of this evening, in line with instructions to all such units around the country, writes Brian Byrne.

A statement from the local unit says the risk of exposing volunteers to covid 19 is 'just not an option' for all involved.

Anyone, not just First Responders, who wishes to volunteer in the fight against covid 19 is encouraged to register with the HSE’s Be On Call recruitment drive.

The core message is stay safe, stay well, stay at home, keep washing your hands and keep your distance.
