Purple tops for Kilcullen first responders

Members of the Kilcullen Community First Responders have now received their distinctive purple tops with the Units crest, writes Brian Byrne.

Pictured with them are Mary Rafferty, Anna Jennings and Suzanne Lawlor, with trainer David Finnegan, and John Davitt and Karen Cradock of the KCFR.

Pending the completion of the last of the paperwork, the Unit is expecting to 'live' shortly. A second group of responders begin their training tomorrow.

The unit was officially launched recently with the help of Dancing with the Stars judge Brian Redmond.
