Edel Mac Aodh at the Juke Joint, big voice worth a big listen

Just had a really nice chat with Edel Mac Aodh about her music, and had a listen to her recording of Tony Kirwan's 'Juke Joint', which he wrote for her, writes Brian Byrne.

I'll be writing about Edel here in due course, but in the meantime I'd really recommend you play the song through. Her voice and performance are the kind that send a frisson down your backbone.

Edel is on the lineup for Friday night's special gig in The Spout in aid of Pa Keogh's medical treatment. She's in big company, but I'm thinking she's well able to hold her own there, and further.
