M7 speed limits until at least 2 February
The Road Works Speed Limits currently in place on sections of the N7/M7/M9 will remain until at least 2 February, writes Brian Byrne.
The latest Order NRO 15/2019 made by Kildare County Council runs from Christmas Eve until that date in February.
The limits are mainly 80km/h, with 100km/h on part of the M7 Eastbound between a point approximately 1250 metres west of the M7 Eastbound on-slip (Junction 11) to a point approximately 900 metres west of the M7/M9 merge point; and on the M9 Northbound approach to the M7, from a point approximately 1250 metres south of the M7/M9 merge to a point approximately 900 metres south of the M7/M9 merge.
