Dave's cakes will be a snap-up at Christmas Market
When Dave Clancy had his florist business on Main Street some years ago, he became tangentially famous for the artistry of his home-baked pastries and cakes, writes Brian Byrne.
At next Saturday's Kilcullen Christmas Market in the Heritage Centre, his culinary take on Christmas cakes and treats will be on sale. Bound to be snapped up very fast.
The Market begins at 10am and will run through to 4pm. It will be followed by the official switch-on of the Christmas Lights in the square at 4pm, with a performance by the Kilcullen Gospel Choir.
Over 25 stallholders at the Market will represent many local businesses providing a great mix of artisan foods, crafts and some great gift ideas for Christmas.
