Work ongoing for this year's Christmas Lights

At last night's meeting of Kilcullen Community Action, KCA chair Ann Cashman expressed the thanks of the group to everyone who helped with, and contributed to the recent Street Collection for the lights.
She noted that it had been very successful, adding that KCA is investing more in the lights programme, with new profiles and the involvement of other business premises.
The meeting heard that the funding towards the lights from the Naas MD had been transferred to the KCA account, and appreciation for this was unanimous.
The lights will be officially switched on on 7 December.
Meanwhile, a large number of letters to Santa have been dropped into the special post-box recently installed at the entrance to the park. There will be regular collections from the box between now and Christmas Eve.
