The passing of Peter O'Toole
The Diary has learned of the death of Peter O'Toole of Avondale Drive, and late of Kilrush, Athy. He passed away on 23 October 2019 peacefully at Naas Hospital in the company of his loving family.
He is sadly missed by his loving wife Gretta and was the cherished father of Angela, Jennifer and Brian. Beloved grandad to Becca, Amy, Hannah, James, Shane, Ashling, Christopher, Jason, Megan and Alice. Proud great-grandfather to Cora. His passing is deeply regretted by his sister and brother Dina and Paddy, sons-in-law Gearoid and Fran, daughter-in-law Anita, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, his extended family and his many friends.
Peter will be reposing at his residence from 4pm on Friday, with prayers said at 8 o'clock. Removal by PJ Willis Funeral Director will be on Saturday at 10.30am, to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart and St Brigid, for Requiem Mass at 11. Funeral thereafter to St Brigid's Cemetery.
House private Saturday morning, and family flowers only. Donations, if desired, may be made to the Friends of Naas General Hospital, for which purpose there will be a box in the house and church.
