Nominations for Community Awards

The 2018 awards trophies.

There’s still time for nominations to the annual Kilcullen Community Awards, which will be held this year on Thursday 7 November, writes Brian Byrne.

At the recent meeting of organisers Kilcullen Community Action, it was noted that a number of nominations have already been received.

Individuals, families and groups who are deemed to have contributed in a significant way to the betterment of life in Kilcullen can be nominated for an award by contacting any member of KCA. Nominations can be sent to kilcullencommunityaction@gmail.com.

All councillors from the Kildare Newbridge Municipal District have been invited to attend the awards night, the meeting heard.

The local awards for the Tidy Towns will also be presented on the night. They include a number of perpetual trophies.

Everybody in Kilcullen is welcome to attend the event and show their appreciation for those receiving awards.
