Kildare Steiner Secondary School is growing

Milon, Stefan and Rowan helping with the potato harvest at Grangebeg, in the first week of term.
We were delighted to hear this month that we will be receiving philanthropic funding to the tune of €70, 000 from a number of European organisations who support the Steiner Waldorf ethos, writes Angie Ruane. This will allow us to embed and develop our new school, based in between Kilcullen and Dunlavin.

Pictured above are some of our current class who are blossoming under the teaching of Nikki Ellis, our esteemed Class Guardian. So far this term, as well as the core academic subjects, the class have been studying the Middle Ages, planting out the school’s polytunnel and learning about the importance of health and nutrition.

The group also travel to James Kelly at West Wicklow Fitness on a weekly basis, for games and fitness. So everyone learns and grows, in head, heart and hands!

We continue to enrol, so keep an eye on our facebook and website for dates of Open and Experience days. For more information on enrolment please contact
