Swinging Jimmy's Gig night

Jerry McEvoy brought along two friends for last night's 'Jimmy's Gig' in The Spout, writes Brian Byrne, and so it was the Jimmy McEvoy Trio making some great music when the Diary dropped by.

We weren't able to wait for the rest of the programme, but it was guaranteed top class with Brush Shiels, his son Jude, Barley & the Graperag, Edel Mac Aodh, The Mississippi Mudrats, John Swaine, Ciaran Warfield's Catalpa, Tony Kirwan, and Jimmy O Donnell.

All present were set for a good night out. And Jimmy Aspell was very much there in spirit.
