Sunday morning litter thoughts
A Sunday morning roundup of some littering stories sent in to the Diary over the last while. Above, a resident took a walk on the Bridge Camphill Farm & Nature Trail and found that some users don't seem to appreciate the fabulous facility provided by the Bridge Community.
(Our correspondent picked up the litter after photographing it.)
Below is a dump of stuff found in a ditch at Nicholastown Common. Again, a correspondent noted that there are very good facilities for disposing of rubbish in the area, but why don't people use them?
And this note from a local lady who walks her dog every day:
Here's a new slogan:
REAL KILCULLEN PEOPLE DON'T MESS WITH KILCULLEN.
Let's try it out.

We are very blessed to have such wonderful places to walk our dogs, with no 'No Dogs Allowed' signs anywhere. Sad to say our freedom is abused by dog owners who refuse to clean up after their dogs. Not very nice for people to walk into dog dirt. Please clean up after your dog.
