Packed music lineup for Jimmy's Gig tonight
A reminder that tonight sees the annual Jimmy's Gig in The Spout, writes Brian Byrne.
Held in memory of Jimmy Aspell who raised a large amount of money down the years for the Irish Cancer Society, the Gig is again headlined by his friend and outstanding rock musician Brush Shiels, along with his son Jude.
Others committed to the night include Barley & the Graperag (pictured above), Edel Mac Aodh, The Mississippi Mudrats, John Swaine, Ciaran Warfield's Catalpa, Jerry McEvoy, and Jimmy O Donnell.
Organiser Tony Kirwan reminds that there's a €5 entry fee and all proceeds, including from a raffle, go to the late Jimmy's cancer charity fund.
The rockin' starts at 8pm.
