Car seats: Check it Fits today
Have you ever been shown how to fit the child seat properly in your car? writes Brian Byrne. According to the RSA, four in five are fitted incorrectly, thus exposing everyone in the car to danger in a severe braking incident.
The RSA, in conjunction with Toyota Ireland, runs a regular series of Check it Fits events around the country to both show how it should be done, and also to check the condition and age-appropriate use of child seats.
Today from 10am, the team is at Naas Retail Park in Jigginstown, Naas. The event runs all day to 5.30pm. Worth a detour.
