New KCA members for playground roster

Members of KCA do ‘an awful lot of work’ with the Kilcullen Community Playground, the group’s recent fortnightly meeting, writes Brian Byrne.

Ann Cashman made the comment during a discussion on rosters for opening and closing and daily inspection and litter clearing in the facility, which KCA looks after on behalf of Kildare County Council.

The meeting heard that because there are a number of new members in the group, it is possible to create a new rota.

Celia Travers, who organises rosters for the work, said at least four people are required to provide full cover. “But we now have five,” she said.
