Francis and Mary open their garden for KARE

Francis and Mary Shortt are again opening their garden this year to raise funds for KARE, writes Brian Byrne.

The event is this coming weekend, Saturday and Sunday, from 2pm-5pm each day.

Admission is €5, which includes refreshments, and there will also be a raffle and some plants for sale.

The display will also feature some 'yarn bombing' features by the Suas Knitting Club.

This is always worth a visit. The company's good too, and you'll surely meet a couple of friends for a chat.
