Kilcullen college and school students are generous
A couple of notes about the generosity of local students for different causes, writes Brian Byrne.
The first is a collection of €450 by the 6th Class pupils in Scoil Bhride, for the Kilcullen Bloom project (pupils from the school also took part in a Tidy Towns Litter Pick recently, under the leadership of Kilcullen Community Action volunteers, using litter pickers provided by Valu€ Zone).
The second is a collection organised by the Students Council of Cross and Passion College towards the appeal for a new Shelter for the Kildare West Wicklow SPCA. They sent in a cheque for €596.
