Happy 100, Nan Ward

Because I put it on the wrong day in the Diary's Calendar, we didn't make it to Nan Ward's 100th birthday party last evening, writes Brian Byrne.

But we know she had a great party thanks to her family and the community of Killinane. Among the attendance at Keadeen Hotel were local friends Martin Heydon TD and Cllr Ivan Keatley.

She also received the President's cheque for €2,540.
