Pitch & Putt Club gets equipment grant

St Bridget's Pitch & Putt Club has been awarded a grant of €25,768 from the Government Sports Capital Programme, writes Brian Byrne.

The money will be used to buy new mowers for cutting the greens and fairways.

The Programme for this year will disburse almost €10m in funds to more than 450 sports clubs around the country.

Details of the 'equipment only' part of the Programme were released earlier this week.

St Bridget's Pitch & Putt Club was established in 1987.
