More medals for Nolan's

Nolan’s of Kilcullen won three Gold Medals today at the ‘International Quality Awards’ also known as the World Cup Finals for Craft Butchers, which are organised by the German Butchers’ Association as part of the IFFA 2019 in Frankfurt.

James Nolan was thrilled to accept the Gold Medals from Herbert Dohrmann President DFV, and Eckhart Neun Vice President DFV, at the Awards Ceremony this evening.

He said that his late father Andy would be proud to see his old recipes for Traditional Pork Sausages and Traditional Black Pudding as well as a Fred Mitchell’s contemporary Chilli Pork Sausage achieving the highest possible awards. James congratulated Fred who makes the sausages and puddings fresh every day. "This is due reward for his hard work and all the rest of the team at Nolan’s."

The aim of these international competitions is to underscore the immense importance of artisan made products and the tradition of these specialities. These awards showcases and emphasise the quality of the products made to international standards by Artisan Craft Butchers from all across the world.

Nolan’s of Kilcullen, proud to be representing Ireland, will be back again competing on Thursday in Frankfurt.
