FG candidare Peggy O'Dwyer elected in Newbridge LEA count

Fine Gael candidate in the Newbridge LEA election Peggy O'Dwyer has been elected on the eighth count.

Pictured above with Martin Heydon, FG TD for Kildare South, she polled 1,542 votes gaining 75 from the distribution of Green Party candidate Enda Connolly. This brought her over the quota of 1,467.

Her surplus is currently being distributed.
