Dates for Irish Military Seminar 2019
The event will include presentations on the Irish involvement in the WW2 D-Day, a dissertation on the various downed Luftwaffe aircraft here during that conflict, and how the Boer War led to technological advances in warfare. Other notable items will be accounts of the Heroes of Jadotville, and the Battle of At Tiri, both reflecting Irish peacekeeping history.
