Conor Carty plays for Ireland this evening
There's a Kilcullen interest tonight in the UEFA U17s game in Waterford between Ireland and the Czech Republic, writes Brian Byrne.
Sixteen-year-old Conor Carty, whose Sully and Carty families are well proud of him, is lining out for Ireland on loan from his current Wolverhampton Wanderers home.
A former promising underage player with St Nicholas GAA in Dunlavin, Conor got seriously involved in soccer a few years ago when he signed with St Francis in Dublin. He joined Wolves in 2017.
The game will be shown on RTE2 TV this evening, kickoff at 7pm.
