Candidates for Newbridge LEA
There are 15 candidates declared for the Newbridge Local Electoral Area elections scheduled for 24 May, writes Brian Byrne.
Four (above) are Fianna Fail contenders, Murty Aspell, Antoinette Buckley, Noel Heavey and Robert Power.
Fine Gael is fielding three, Tom Dempsey, Peggy O'Dwyer, and Tracey O'Dwyer.
There are also three Independents going for Council seats, Gerard Delaney, Morgan McCabe, and Fiona McLoughlin.
Others in contention are Noel Connolly of Sinn Fein, Enda Connolly of the Green Party, Damien Molyneaux of Aontu, Ciara O'Reilly of the Labour Party, and Chris Pender from the Social Democrats.
