Bridge is colourfully yarn-bombed

The Suas Knitting Group has been 'yarn-bombing' the bridge in Kilcullen all day, and it is now a riot of artistic colour celebration of Kilcullen 700, writes Brian Byrne.

The imagination of the knitters in the group is already creating a viral word of mouth spread, and will certainly light up the June Bank Holiday weekend in great style.

It's only when you take the time to get up close to the individual pieces that you get to appreciate the extraordinary variety of what are in many ways the knitted stories of Kilcullen.
