The passing of Pat Behan
The Diary has learned of the death last week (3 April) of Patrick Behan of Calverstown, in the loving care of the Drogheda Memorial Hospital, The Curragh.
Pat was a prolific contributor to The Bridge magazine in Kilcullen from 2005 through 2006 and 2007, writing on a variety of subjects from drama reviews to business stories and profiles. He was also a committed first responder, a member of Calverstown Responders, and a trainer in first aid.
His passing is deeply regretted by his loving mother Kathleen, sisters Mary and Catherine, brothers John, Joe and Liam, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives and friends.
Following requiem mass in the Church of SS Mary and Lawrence, Crookstown, he was laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
