Fundraiser for marathon men

A reminder that two local men who are planning to run the New York Marathon in aid of Our Lady's Hospital Crumlin will be holding a fundraiser in O'Connell's Bar next Friday, writes Brian Byrne.

They are Hillcrest neighbours David O'Farrell and Tom Doyle, and the Benefit Night on Friday 17 May will include a Shave & Dye, a raffle, and a DJ. Things will kick off at 8pm.

The New York Marathon is held on 3 November.
