Rugby girls get Kilcullen 700 Award

A Kilcullen 700 Award was presented to the Newbridge U14 Wasps Girls Rugby Squad last weekend, following their win in a challenge game against Tullow, writes Nessa Dunlea.

There are 12 Kilcullen girls on the squad, and the award was presented to Player of the Match Emily Larrigan from Kilcullen, by Derek Phelan of the Kilcullen 700 Committee.

The Newbridge Wasps won the match in six tries.
