Carols by Candlelight 2018
This Christmas Village in the porch of the Parish Church last evening set the scene perfectly for the Carols by Candlelight Concert in aid of funds for the roof, writes Brian Byrne.
We could only make a fleeting visit and only heard the Gospel Choir, briefly. But we do understand the very good audience had treats from the Cross and Passion TY Group previewing their 'Mama Mia' musical, and from the CPC School Choir itself.
We missed Patrick Hyland, tenor. But from hearing him before, we know his performance will have been brilliant.
Meantime, the candlelight part of things was also … brilliant.
Well done to everyone involved.
