More High Achievers from Drama Dynamics

Evelyn O'Sullivan's Drama Dynamics had three High Achiever award winners yesterday at the GBS Theatre in Carlow.

High Achievers is an award from the Royal Irish Academy of Music for students who not only receive a Distinction or 90 marks in their exam, they also displayed a performance which the examiner decided merited an award.

Each year over 42,000 students are eligible for the award. Of these, approximately 300 across the country win High Achiever.

Since 2014 a number of students from Drama Dynamics have won these awards. They were Dara O'Sullivan 2014, Emmet O'Sullivan and Caoimhe O'Neill 2015, Dara O'Sullivan and Seamus Gervin n 2016, and Peter McHale 2017.

This year's achievers are Lily Crawford, Jenny Dillon and Emmet O'Sullivan. Emmet also performed at the award ceremony yesterday.

Meantime, Drama Dynamics will be at the Christmas Market on 8 December, performing 'Elf' and the company's own Christmas Show will be on 15 December in the Town Hall.
