Information evening on grants application
An information evening on how to apply for grants from Kildare County Council will be held in Newbridge Town Hall on Tuesday next, 20 November, writes Brian Byrne.
Organised by the Kildare Public Participation Network in association with the Council, it will advise on applying for grants for the community, for festivals and for heritage projects.
The evening will also be useful as a guide to form-filling, and on when to watch out for grants being advertised.
Anyone interested in attending should email kildareppn@gmail.com.
The Kildare PPN facilitates representation of communities on decision making bodies. It currently has more than 700 member groups on its Directory, of which six are from Kilcullen. These are Kilcullen Co Housing Group, Kilcullen Senior Citizens, Kilcullen and District Community Alert, Kilcullen Community Carer & Toddler Group, Kilcullen Community Child Care & Education Centre Ltd, and Kilcullen River Festival.
