Positions are available at Grangebeg Camphill for Social Care workers and Social Care Assistants, writes Andrea Pedersen.
We are looking for dynamic, flexible people to join our team, who are committed to a person-centred approach to working with adults with intellectual disabilities, to work in both our residential and day facilities.
• Social Care Workers, full time and part time (€14.42/hr), Social care Degree Level 7 and over one years’ experience of working with people with intellectual disabilities.
• Social Care Assistants (€13.00/hr), minimum qualification of QQI Level 5 and two years’ experience of working with people with intellectual disabilities.

Grangebeg Camphill is a small rural community that has a strong family atmosphere. We provide a home to ten residents. Merged with a day services and transitional training opportunities within the context of our farm, garden and every day community life.
We are a HIQA monitored social care community where our residents and day attendees are supported to live high quality lives by staff and volunteers. We are a community in transition, integrating employed Social Care staff with short-term life sharing volunteers all committed to the values and ethos of Camphill. We are also integrating with our local community as neighbours, friends and colleagues.
