Calendar launch finalises project
The publication got its debut last night in Woodbine Books, with a good support from the community. Several of the sponsors of the calendar were also present.
Club chairperson Cliona Kelliher thanked all present and especially the sponsors, without whom the calendar would not have happened."We're very proud of it, as the club has only being going for little over a year, and now it's here. The pictures are great and it's a lovely snapshot of the town … so buy away."
Dave Byrne thanked the club's Technical Officer, Conor Williams, for the assistance he has given to the club since its formation. For himself, Conor reiterated the club's thanks to the sponsors, and presented the ones who were present with copies.
The Calendar costs €8 and is available from Woodbine Books and other outlets, and from club members.
