Kilcullen based Murphy Surveys Ltd has opened a new Dublin office in order to help manage 'substantial growth' in its business, writes Brian Byrne.

The new offices in Westpoint Court Business Park in Dublin 12 will accommodate an expanded team based in the Dublin area, according to company MD Niall Murphy.

He described the move as an 'investment' in staff and making the company more attractive to potential new employees. “This location will also allow us to react quickly to client requirements and respond to tight programme demands for their projects in the Dublin area.”

The location provides an open collaborative working space for up to 50 employees.

"Many of our large projects are based in Dublin, and it is important that we are close to this centre of industry as our company expands. This move, along with the recent extension of our fleet of vans, reflects the growth of our business and the industry in general.”

From its beginnings as a small family-run business, Murphy Surveys now also has offices in Cork, Belfast, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Barcelona, Cologne and Milan, making it the leading land and engineering surveying company in Ireland, the UK and Europe with over 250 employees.
