Local company a double finalist in Kildare Business Awards 2018
Kilcullen-based craft company CarveOn Limited is in the finals of the County Kildare Chamber Business Awards 2018, writes Brian Byrne.
The Awards will be announced at a gala event in The K Club on Friday 23 November, and CarveOn is competing in two of the 13 categories in the Awards, which are sponsored by a range of Kildare-based and national companies.
In the Innovation and Technology category, sponsored by Kerry, CarveOn is in against fellow finalists Mick O'Shea Heating & Plumbing, and Mongey Communications.
In the Diversity & Inclusion category, sponsored by Grant Thornton, the Kilcullen company is competing against computer giant Intel Ireland, and Lemongrass Fusion Naas.
The overall Award is sponsored by Bank of Ireland.
Our picture above shows one of the recent corporate orders fulfilled by CarveOn, a handcrafted leather notebook and pen set for Renault Ireland commemorating the 120th anniversary of the car company.
Originally based in Kill, CarveOn moved into the former Renley premises in Kilcullen in August 2016.
