Relay for Life gets water bottle sponsorship

The Kilcullen Relay for Life Team has received €1,000 in sponsorship for its innovative 'Bottle to Beat Cancer' water bottles scheme, following an appeal, writes Brian Byrne.

The sponsorship was given by Richard Kelly of Brannockstown, and the Team has expressed its thanks for the donation.

Next Saturday is the last one before the Kildare Relay For Life event at Punchestown, and the Team will again be present in the Kilcullen branch of Kildare Credit Union to sell Candle Bags and the water bottles.

The Punchestown event is one the weekend of 15/16 September.
