Flight of the Wren launch in Woodbine Books

Get the Kildare Culture Weekend off to a flying start with the launch of award-winning Newbridge author, Orla McAlinden’s new Famine novel set partly among the Wren women of the Curragh, the Flight of the Wren.

The launch will be in Woodbine Books, Kilcullen, on Wednesday next, 19 September, beginning at 6.30pm.

Relax with a glass of wine before the official business begins. Be the first to hear the author read from the Flight of the Wren, and take the opportunity to buy a signed and personalised copy.

It will be a relaxed, family friendly event with light refreshments. All welcome.
