Big music weekend in The Spout
A feast of top band and soloist music will be taking place this weekend at The Spout Bar, as the Hardly Strictly Acoustic Festival gets into tune, writes Brian Byrne.
Tonight, Friday, the headline act at 10.30pm is SON (Susan O'Neill, above) who will be preceded from 7pm by Tia Burke, Dubh Lee, Kayla Williams and Sina Theil.
The Saturday night top feature is I Draw Slow, again from 10.30pm and supported from 7pm by Kayla Williams, David Dee Moore, Ultitune and Sina Theil and Band.
Chris Madden is the main act at 8.30pm on the Sunday, while before from 6.15pm is Gerry Hodgers, Dave Furey, Keith Plunkett, and Barley and Grape Rag.
Admission to all nights is free, and the festival is supported by ISS Recruitment and Training, DRP Downda Road, and the Dooley Insurance Group.
