A rockin' night in The Spout for Jimmy's Gig 2018

We caught just a little bit of Jimmy's Gig 2018 in The Spout last night, and above we have a taster of some of the music that kept everybody happy, writes Brian Byrne.

Featured are Roisin McAlinden, The Misfits, and Brush Shiels. Liam Kett from KFM made sure everything moved on, and when we left the rockin' was only getting under way.

Others performing included Tony Kirwan, with whom Jimmy produced a special fundraising CD, with the Mississippi Mud Rats, and the Barley and the Grapes Rag Band.

A portion of the money raised was for the Michael Mullen Fund ... Michael is currently in the US undertaking treatment for his cancer.

Jimmy Aspell, who started all this some eight years ago and sadly passed away earlier this year, was no doubt with everyone in spirit last night, smiling gently on another great gig.
