Relay for Life team in Credit Union Office today

If you're passing by the Credit Union Office this morning, take a detour in and give a shout to the Relay for Life team who are in there selling Candle Bags and water bottles, writes Brian Byrne.

They'll be there every Saturday until the Kildare Relay 2018 event in Punchestown on 15/16 September.

The water bottles are an innovation at €6 apiece, worth having even if the hot weather is (temporarily) absent.

Meanwhile the team is also holding a Country and Irish night in McTernans on Saturday 25 August.

Pat and John Kelly will be singing all the favourites. There's no cover charge but donations will be appreciated and the Relay For Life Candle Bags will be for sale on the night.

Last year, the Kilcullen Relay for Life Team raised €4,210.
