A busy Saturday night

It was an exceptionally busy Saturday night in downtown Kilcullen with large turnouts for two special events, writes Noel Clare.

O'Connell's was the scene for Esther Reddy's surprise 50th birthday party and just down the street McTernans was packed out as it hosted a country music night in aid of the Kilcullen Relay for Life team.

There was a strong overlap between the two events as many people were in town to support both. Indeed at times it was hard to know which one you were at!
