Some people still dumping in Pinkeen
Despite all the good work carried out in cleaning up Pinkeen Stream by Kilcullen Tidy Towns and Dr Jan Baars, people still insist on using it as a dump, writes Brian Byrne.
This is what was cleared out the other day by Jonathan Kinsella and his 3-year-old son Reuben, from the area around the unofficial crossing point between Cnoc na Greine and the Community Centre.
"I've lived in Kilcullen for two years and it is a beautiful place," Jonathan told the Diary. "But littering is a big issue. Pity."
