New all-weather pitch being installed in August-September

The all-weather pitch on the Kilcullen Community Centre campus will be closed from Monday 20 August until 17 September, to facilitate the installation of a new pitch, writes Brian Byrne.

The top of the range new 5G playing surface is costing in the region of €220,000 and is being part funded by a Sports Capital Grant, plus some €153,000 sourced from the Centre's investment fund and new borrowings.
